Franz Josef and nearby Fox glacier's are 2 of the only 3 glaciers in the world to tumble to below the bush line not far above sea level. The stunning views from the helicopter and the landing on the ice with time to walk around and take those pictures is an experience not to be missed!

In exciting news, GTnT now has a new means of travelling that road - a motorcycle tour throughout Tibet. Using Royal Enfield 500cc motorcycles, the tour starts in Kathmandu and goes through the amazing cities of Zhangmu, Xigatse and Lhasa before returning to Kathmandu.
